Construction

PATE provides construction support services to its clients (private and public) for projects designed by the firm. This support ranges from the distribution of plans for bid, the organization and conduction of the pre-bid conference, the preparation and distribution of any addendum, and the collection of bids. After bids are collected, PATE prepares bid summaries with complete arithmetic checks, researches the qualification of the low bidder, and will make a recommendation of award to the Owner.

During the construction process, PATE will provide field representation for the Owner. The field representatives do not control the means and methods of the contractor and are present to confirm that the project is constructed in accordance with the plans and specifications. Monthly quantities are verified for the contractor's pay estimates, and change orders are processed by PATE for ultimate approval by the Owner.

Final walk-through reviews are scheduled by the PATE Construction Services team with the Owner, Contractor, and pertinent regulatory personnel. Completion of punch list items is confirmed by PATE before the firm will process the final pay estimate.
