PATE provided all the surveying services for the development of this 668-acre tract, home of the 1,500,000-sf Katy Mills Mall. The surveys and related services include preparation of ALTA/ACSM Land Title Surveys - Urban Classification and preparation of legal descriptions. Survey data was used in the design of roadway and infrastructure improvements to serve the site and for building locations internal to the project site. This project also required the negotiation of offsite water supply and wastewater treatment capacity, master drainage and detention analysis and design, and roadway planning to accommodate the mall and provide for future site development needs. PATE was also responsible for the surveying, design and construction of Kingsland Boulevard, a four-lane divided thoroughfare bisecting the overall site.
