Sam Houston Toll Road; Houston, TX

This project included the main lane designs of an urban toll road including a three span crossing of Gessner Road. The project was designed in accordance with TxDOT and FHA criteria, and was reviewed and approved by these agencies. The project scope included geometric design of main lanes; entry/exit ramps and toll plazas; bridge layout and final design including design of pile drivers and drilled shaft foundation systems; design of earthen embankment and reinforced earth retaining walls; and preparation of final plans; specifications and cost estimates.
