PATE is currently providing structural engineering design services for the construction of one section of a new four-lane toll road from IH-610 to South Rice developed to alleviate traffic flow problems in southwest Houston. Designed for the Harris County Toll Road Authority, the section assigned to PATE includes one half mile of toll road, 2,000 linear feet of bridges and retaining walls. The scope of work includes schematic design and preparation of plans, specifications and cost estimate. Total scope of services include: grading, drainage, roadway design, retaining walls and above ground structural design.
