PATE has been the District Engineer for the 552-acre, Harris County MUD NO. 33 since its creation in 1977. The original plans for the district projected more than 2,900 water and wastewater connections and by the district's 10-year anniversary, more than 1,700 of those connections had been created. PATE has contributed to the growth providing services in land development, public works and the design of the 2.7-acre, Briarcreek Park, which includes baseball and soccer fields, jogging trails, a playground, picnic tables, and parking lot with drainage. PATE offered services to expand a 0.3350 MGD wastewater treatment plant in two phases. The first phase expanded the plant to 0.750 MGD. Phase two expanded the plant again to reach 2.00 MGD. In completing the expansions, the Lincoln Green Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant was now able to serve three districts: HCMUD 33, HCUD 14 and HCUD 15. Services to meet this demand included a number of plant upgrades and modifications such as dechlorination facilities, sodium hypochlorite chlorination facilities, and sludge pumping modifications.
